Shelton-Mosley Honored as College Sports Madness  Ivy Offensive Player of the Week

Justice Shelton-Mosley had the third-longest punt return for a TD in school history Saturday (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Freshman wide receiver Justice Shelton-Mosley of the No. 13/15 Harvard football team has been selected as the College Sports Madness Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, the website announced Sunday.

A native of Sacramento, California, Sheton-Mosley accumulated 270 all-purpose yards in Harvard's 24-16 win at Columbia Saturday. Shelton-Mosley had 131 receiving yards on eight catches, 121 punt return yards and 18 kick return yards to amass the most all-purpose yards for a Crimson player since Paul Stanton, Jr., had 275 at Penn on Nov. 25, 2014.

Against the Lions, Shelton-Mosley made a 26-yard TD grab in the second quarter and returned a punt 86 yards for a touchdown early in the fourth. The punt return was the third-longest in school history. Shelton-Mosley has made 31 grabs for 459 yards and four touchdowns and has returned 10 punts for 190 yards (19.0 avg.) during his rookie season.

Harvard has won 22-straight games and is tied with Ohio State for the longest win streak in Division I. The Crimson has also claimed 16-consecutive Ivy League victories and 14-straight road wins, both program records.

The Crimson (8-0, 5-0 Ivy) hosts Penn (5-3, 4-1) in a crucial Ivy League contest on the American Sports Network and Ivy League Digital Network Saturday, Nov. 14 at 12 p.m. Harvard can clinch at least a share of its third-straight Ivy title with a victory.
