CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - On the first day that National Football League (NFL) teams are allowed to sign free agents, Harvard players have been picked up quickly. Graduated senior Brent Osborne has signed with the Seattle Seahawks and former captain Collin Zych has signed with the Dallas Cowboys.
Osborne is a two-time All-Ivy League selection. The Drapoer, Va. native started 19 out of his last 20 career games for the Crimson and, this past season, was named as the Joseph E. Wolf Award winner as the top interior lineman by his teammates.
Zych, from Plano, Texas, is a three-time All-Ivy League selection who was also named to the New England Football Writers' All-New England team as a senior. Zych finished his career with 224 total tackles, 10.5 for a loss, six interceptions and 27 pass breakups.
