CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Ariel Dukes of the women’s water polo team has been named the COOP Athlete of the Week for the week of April 14.
Dukes led Harvard to a fourth place finish at the Collegiate Water Polo Association Southern Division Championship. In the first game, Dukes registered 12 saves in net as the Crimson powered past George Washington, 12-3. Harvard faced Princeton in the next round where the Crimson fell, 13-4. Dukes made five saves in the loss. The Crimson moved on to face Bucknell in the third place game where Dukes made five saves. Harvard ultimately dropped a hard fought, 9-6, decision to the Bison.
Dukes leads the team with 38 steals while recording 207 saves for Harvard this season.
