NEW ORLEANS – The Harvard women's cross country team garnered votes in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I National Coaches Poll, the organization released Tuesday.
Harvard also ranks seventh in the northeast region.
The Crimson placed seventh of 47 teams at the Paul Short Invitational over the weekend, paced by senior Emily Reese. Reese crossed the finish line in 20:42 to rank 12th overall, followed closely by junior Viviana Hanley, who ranked 14th with a time of 20:45 in the 6K.
Harvard will be back in action Oct. 19 with split squads at Princeton and Wisconsin.
