CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard cross country team
announced its 2012 schedule Monday, and the Crimson will compete in
seven meets in the upcoming season. The Crimson kicks off the
2012-13 season at the Bryant Invitational Sep. 8 in Smithfield,

“I am really looking forward to this cross country
season,” said Jason Saretsky, director of Harvard track &
field and cross country. “The season is laid out where
we have a competition roughly every two weeks and I feel confident
it should provide a great opportunity for our student-athletes to
shine at the end of the season when it matters most.”
The cross country team will travel to New Haven, Conn., on Sep. 14
for the annual HY(P) meet. On Sep. 28, the Crimson travels to
the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh. Two weeks

Wisconsin Adidas Invitational Oct. 12 in Madison, Wis., or the
Princeton Invitational Oct. 13 in Princeton, N.J. Following
another two week rest, the Crimson travels to Princeton, N.J. for
the Heptagonal Championships Oct. 27.
