TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior Daniel Chenoweth of the Harvard cross country team competed at the 2010 NCAA Cross Country National Championships Monday afternoon. After a fast start, Chenoweth endured a trying back half of the race, finishing 238th overall in the talented field.
Chenoweth was the lone Harvard representative at the championship meet, qualifying via a third-place finish at NCAA Regionals nine days ago at Hammonasett Beach State Park in Connecticut. Chenoweth was one of ten Ivy League competitors in the field of 246 runners. Chenoweth nearly missed All-America status in his last two appearances at the meet, registering 42nd-place finishes in 2008 and 2009.
