May 5, 2009 Victory at Easterns Highlights 2009 Season for Up-and-Coming Crimson
A seventh-place showing at the Eastern Championship and several all-league honors helped put a successful ending to the 2009 Harvard women’s water polo season. Head coach Erik Farrar and his squad completed the campaign with a 12-16 overall record, including a fourth-place finish in the CWPA Northern Division regular season with a 3-4 record.

Senior Devon MacLaughlin was one of the leaders of this years women's water polo that qualified for the Eastern Championships for the first time since 2007. Aside from her leadership, also contributed in the pool scoring a goal against Bucknell that led the Crimson to a 9-8 victory for seventh-place at the Eastern Championships.
April 26, 2009 Kennifer Tabbed Rookie of the Tournament at Eastern Championship
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Harvard freshman Devan Kennifer scored four goals at the 2009 Eastern Championship and was honored as the Rookie of the Tournament, the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) announced Sunday afternoon. Kennifer was also named to the All-Eastern Championship second team, just two days after Kennifer was selected as the CWPA Northern Division Rookie of the Year.
