No. 19 Women’s Water Polo Stumbles at No. 11 Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 19 Harvard women's water polo team fell to No. 11 Princeton, 13-7, on Sunday morning in DeNunzio Pool. Sophomores Mathilde Ribordy and Julie Harrison, as well as freshman Olivia Price each scored twice for the Crimson (15-17, 2-6 CWPA). Senior goalie Cleo Harrington stopped 12 shots in the final regular-season game.

Harvard 7, Princeton 13
Ribordy's first goal was Harvard's only response to three Princeton scores in the opening frame. Harrison delivered both her goals in the second, with Price adding her first of the day to match three more Tigers goals before the half, 6-4. Price's goal after the intermission was Harvard's lone goal in the third. Down 8-5 entering the fourth, senior Sami Strutner and Ribordy scored, but five more Princeton goals put the game out of reach. 

What's Next
The Crimson await its seeding for the Collegiate Water Polo Association Tournament. Harvard will compete for the conference title from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29.
