CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's water polo team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2014 season. The Crimson's schedule is highlighted by four east coast tournaments – including two at Blodgett Pool that will be streamed on the Ivy League Digital Network – and a trip to California.

Harvard will play on the road for the first two weekends of the season starting Feb. 1.  The Crimson goes to Villanova Feb. 2 for a double header against the Wildcats and Iona before traveling to Princeton, N.J. for the Princeton Invite Feb. 8-9. The Crimson sees Virginia Military Institution, and Princeton on day one (Feb. 8) in Princeton, N.J., and follows up with Wagner on the second day.

The Crimson opens at Blodgett Pool Feb. 22-23 as the team hosts the Cross Over event, which will feature Wagner, Siena, Villanova and Iona. Following that, the Crimson will head back to New Jersey for another bout against the Tigers on March 2, before hosting the annual Harvard Invite at Blodgett Pool March 8-9.

The Aztec Invite, hosted by San Diego State University, is the first of seven stops as the Crimson makes its annual west coast swing March 15-22. During the trip, Harvard is slated to visit Pomona (March 19), Whittier (March 19), Northridge (March 20), Cal Lutheran (March 20), UC Los Angeles (March 21), and UC Santa Barbara (March 22).

The Crimson returns to the east coast to take the pool against George Washington March 29. A trip to Lewisburg, Pa. is next for Harvard where the Crimson will face Bucknell and Princeton (April 5) and Mercyhurst (April 6).

The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division Championship is slated for April 12-13 at Harvard, while the CWPA Eastern Championship is schedule for April 25-27 at Bucknell in Lewisburg, PA.

Last season, Harvard became the first team since the 2000-02 run to post three consecutive winning seasons with an 18-16 overall record and 3-3 mark in the regular season CWPA Southern Division games. The Crimson returns nine members of the 2013 squad, including second team All-CWPA Southern Division performers Yoshi Andersen and Ariel Dukes while welcoming six new freshmen.
