Harvard Earns Seventh Seed at ECAC Championships

CAPE COD, Mass. -- The Harvard women's water polo team earned the seventh seed for the 2010 ECAC Women's Water Polo Championships, scheduled to be held Feb. 27-28 at DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J.

Harvard will take on No. 2 seed Marist in the first round of the tournament Saturday, Feb. 27.  Rounding out the field are No. 1 Maryland, No. 3 Brown, No. 4 Princeton, No. 5 Iona, No. 6 Wagner and No. 8 Bucknell. 

The Crimson is coming off a 2009 season that saw the team win 12 games overall and finish seventh at the Eastern Championships.  Harvard also took third at the Northern Division Championships last year.
