Kristin Kenney returns for her fifth season with the Harvard women's volleyball pogram in 2011. She served as the second assistant for her first two seasons before being promoted to first assistant in the summer of 2009.

Kenney a 2007 Boston College graduate, was a four-year starting defensive specialist for the Eagles. Kenney was fourth on the team in digs as a freshman and junior. She was the team's second setter and averaged 4.05 assists per game during her senior campaign. She received the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement all four seasons and was the recipient of the 2006 Boston College Coaches Award.

The native of Walnut Creek, Calif., won a national championship with her club team, Golden Bear Volleyball, in 2001.

Kenney served as a coach for the Boston College, Bentley College and Golden Bear Volleyball camps. In the summer of 2007, she worked the Sinjin Smith and Randy Stoklos Beach Volleyball Camps.

Kenney graduated with a degree in human development and history from Boston College's Lynn School of Education.
