Women’s Tennis Adds Seventh-Best Recruiting Class for 2014-15

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.Traci Green, the head coach of Harvard women's tennis, has once again assembled one of the top recruiting classes in the nation as she has announced the addition of three freshmen for the 2014-15 season. Harvard's Class of 2018 has been ranked as the seventh-best recruiting class by TennisRecruiting.net with each member ranked in the top 100.

Harvard has boasted a top 10 recruiting class each of the last two years and four of the past six seasons, including the third-ranked class in 2009 and the fourth-ranked class a year ago. This year's group includes Tennis Recruiting's No. 17 recruit Nikki Kallenberg, the No. 29 recruit in Annika Ringblom and the No. 54 recruit Ellen Jang-Milsten.

The incoming student-athletes that hail from three different states will join a squad that finished fifth in the Ivy League (3-4) and went 11-8 overall.

Nikki Kallenberg | Naples, Fla. | Naples
Ranked as the No. 17 recruit in the class of 2014 by Tennis Recruiting … Four-year letterwinner and served as captain as a senior … Went 67-1 at Naples where she played No. 1 singles and doubles …. Two-time singles state champion … Doubles state champion in 2014 … Singles state finalists in 2011 … Four-Time All-State selection … Four-time MVP … Four-time Naples Daily News Spring Athlete of the Year … Diary Farmer's Award Recipient in 2012-13.

Annika Ringblom | Palos Verdes Estates, Calif. | Palos Verdes Peninsula
