CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Pavle Jefferson, a familiar name within Ivy League tennis, has been named an assistant coach of the Harvard women's tennis team for the upcoming season.
Jefferson has spent the last two seasons at Penn as an assistant coach on the women’s tennis staff. During his time at Penn, he helped spark his squad’s resurgence as Penn doubled its win totals between the 2009-10 and 2010-11 campaigns.
Jefferson began his career as a volunteer assistant coach for the Duke women’s tennis team. During his tenure the Blue Devils won the 2009 ACC and NCAA Championships.
Jefferson, a 2003 graduate of Columbia, was a member of the men’s tennis team and helped the Lions to two Ivy League Championships. He graduated from New York University in 2008 with a M.S. in global affairs.
