CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard women's tennis team will look to continue its success in 2011 from a season ago when the Crimson participated in the NCAA Championships after going 14-8 in the regular season.
Harvard begins the season with a No. 44 preseason ranking and junior co-captain Holly Cao is ranked No. 45 in the singles poll.
The Crimson finished second in the Ivy League last season and dropped its first round NCAA tournament match-up to Georgia. Harvard returns six student-athletes from that squad, including the lone senior and other co-captain, Samantha Rosekrans.
Head coach Traci Green sat down to dicuss the upcoming season, some of the challenges a grueling schedule provides, the conditioning the team has been doing in the off-season and the team's expectations for 2011.
