Womens Tennis to Host USTA Campus Kids' Day Friday

CAMRBIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard women's tennis team will be hosting a USTA Campus Kids' Day event on Friday, April 16, when it hosts Brown. The match is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Murr Center Tennis Courts. Campus Kids' Day activities will kick off upon conclusion of the match, approximately 5 p.m., and last until 6:30. Admission to the match, as well as the kids' clinic, is free.
Children age 8-14 are invited to participate in on-court games, drills, food, fun and prizes. Click here for a Campus Kids' Day flyer.
The Crimson (11-7, 3-1 Ivy) is coming off a weekend split against Ivy League opponents. Harvard dropped a 5-2 decision to No. 28 Princeton Friday afternoon before claiming a 7-0 sweep of Penn the following afternoon. Junior Samantha Rosekrans and freshman Hideko Tachibana both hold a 4-0 record in conference play following wins over both opponents this weekend.
Brown, with a 15-6 overall mark, is coming off a sweep of conference opponents last weekend. The Bears earned back-to-back 5-2 victories, defeating Columbia Friday afternoon and Cornell Saturday afternoon.
After hosting Brown, Harvard will travel to New Haven, Conn., Saturday afternoon to take on Yale at 2 p.m.
