CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's swimming and diving team was recognized for its efforts in the classroom by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America Tuesday morning. The Crimson was a recipient of the CSCAA's Scholar All-America Team honor, given to teams that finished with a cumulative GPA of over 3.00 during the fall.
Harvard, which was the highest placing Ivy team, was ranked tied for 18th among Division I women's programs with a 3.45 GPA. North Texas was the top team on the list with a 3.62 total.
The Crimson has seen its fair share of success in the pool, as well, this season. Harvard is currently ranked tied for No. 22 in the nation and has won 14 straight Ivy League contests dating back to last year.
