CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After winning her third consecutive individual national title, Amanda Sobhy of the women's squash team was tabbed as Ivy League Player of the Year for the third time. Sobhy is joined by junior Haley Mendez and freshman Katherine Tutrone who were also unanimously selected to the All-Ivy League team after a vote by the league's coaches.

The trio paced the team to a 14-1 overall record and its 19th Ivy League title with a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play. Harvard fell just short of claiming the Howe Cup for the third straight season when Trinity edged the Crimson, 5-4 in the finals of the CSA Team Championships.

Sobhy dominated her foes in 2013-14, winning each match by a 3-0 margin while playing at the No. 1 position. The Sea Cliff, N.Y., native posted a perfect 17-0 record, including a 7-0 mark in the Ancient Eight.

The junior went on to win her third consecutive national individual title. Sobhy becomes the only Crimson student-athlete in program history to win the Ramsay Cup three consecutive times, while joining Alicia McConnell of Penn (1982-84) and Julia Beaver of Princeton (1999-01) as just the third player in CSA history to take the title three straight years. For her career, the junior is 47-0 with a pair of team national titles and three individual national titles.

Sobhy becomes the first player in program history to garner Ivy League Player of the Year three consecutive seasons. Sobhy joins Princeton's Julia Beaver (1998-2001) as the second athlete in conference history to take home the award three times.

Junior co-captain Haley Mendez earns her second All-Ivy selection after posting a 12-3 record. The Brooklyn, N.Y., native completed her season in the quarterfinals of the CSA Individual Championship, where she fell to teammate Sobhy.

Katherine Tutrone concluded her first year in Cambridge with an 11-2 record at the No. 3 position, while posting a 6-1 mark in conference play.
