Top-Ranked Women's Squash Downs Columbia, 9-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The top-ranked women's squash team swept its sixth match of the season when the Crimson breezed past No. 9 Columbia, 9-0, on Sunday.

Amanda Sobhy improved to 6-0 on the season as she downed Colette Sultana in the top position, while Haley Mendez notched her seventh win of the year with a win over Grace Van Arkel.

Freshman Katie Tutrone edged Reyna Pacheco to own a, 2-2, record in the No. 3 position, while Saumya Karki handed Maya Patel a loss in the fourth spot.

Michelle Gemmell, Julianne Chu, Dileas MacGowan, Isabelle Dowling and Megan Murray each registered a win in positions five through nine respectively.

Harvard is back in action on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Trinity in a rematch of the 2012-13 CSA Team Championships.
