No. 1 Women's Squash Downs No. 3 Penn, 6-3

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The top-ranked Harvard women's squash team remained undefeated with a 6-3 win over Ivy League foe No. 3 Penn, Sunday afternoon at the Murr Center Squash Courts.

Amanda Sobhy knocked off Anaka Alankamony, 11-6, 11-3, 11-5, in the No. 1 position to clinch her fourth win of the season. Haley Mendez traded wins with Penn's Yan Xin Tan before taking the last two matches to secure a, 3-1 win in the No. 2 spot.  

Saumya Karki and Michelle Gemmell earned wins in the fourth and fifth position respectively, while Dileas MacGowan and Isabelle Dowling clinched wins in the seventh and eighth spot.

The Crimson returns to action Jan. 25 when the squad faces off with St. Lawrence at the Murr Center.
