Top Ranked Women's Squash Blanks No. 15 Williams, 9-0

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The No. 1 Harvard women's squash team posted its fourth shutout in as many matches by topping No. 15 Williams, 9-0 Tuesday night. The Crimson dominated the match, winning all 27 games for the third time this season to improve to 4-0, while the Ephs fall to 6-6.

Haley Mendez made her season debut in the No. 1 spot and knocked off Alyssa Northrop, 11-2, 11-3, 11-6, to remain undefeated this season. Saumya Karki improved to 3-0 on the season after defeating Nicole Freshbach, 11-6, 11-2, 11-4, to claim her first win in the second position.

Rookie Katie Tutrone allowed just five points in an 11-2, 11-2, 11-1 win over Caroline Sawin to remain unbeaten in her collegiate career. Isabelle Dowling, Dileas MacGowan, Caroline Monrad and Megan Murray each claimed wins by 3-0 margins to improve to 4-0.

Harvard returns to action this weekend as the Crimson welcome Ivy League foes Princeton and Penn to the Murr Center.
