No. 1 Women's Squash Overpowers No. 10 Williams, 9-0

Natasha Kingshott earned a win at the No. 4 position Wednesday night (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 1 Harvard women's squash team cruised to its 20th straight win, knocking off No. 10 Williams, 9-0, Wednesday night at the Murr Center.

The Crimson swept six of the nine matches to improve to 3-0 on the year and win 9-0 for the third time on the year.

Senior Laura Gemmell made her second consecutive start at No. 1 and surrendered only 10 points in her 11-4, 11-3, 11-3 win over Laura Henry.

Saumya Karki and Megan Murray both picked up their third wins of the season, earning victories at the No. 3 and No. 7 positions, respectively.

The closest match of the night came at the No. 6 spot on the ladder. Harvard freshman Isabelle Dowling and Caroline Sawin traded the first four games of the match before the rookie pulled away in the final game to win, 11-9, 8-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-3.
