Durack Earns Spot at England’s U23 National Camp
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard freshman goalkeeper Lizzie Durack, a starter for England's U20 team that recently qualified for the World Cup, has been invited to the U23 National Camp at the La Manga Resort in Spain. The camp will run from Jan. 12-18.
No stranger to international competition, Durack made her debut with England against Scotland in a friendly tournament in March 2013. The netminder helped earn England a point in their UEFA European Women's U19 Championships Finals opener in August, saving a penalty shot in the second half.
With the Crimson, Durack saw action between the pipes in 13 games, maintaining a 0.82 goals against average and holding opponents scoreless seven times.
