Karly Zlatic Named Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  – Harvard women's soccer freshman forward Karly Zlatic was named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Zlatic scored in the game winner against Yale, helping the Crimson (6-3-1) move to 2-0 in Ancient Eight play.

Zlatic scored the second of three Harvard goals in the 3-1 victory over Yale Saturday. The rookie took two shots, both on frame, in the Crimson's lone match of the week.

Zlatic becomes the first Crimson women's soccer player to win a weekly award this season. Peyton Johnson, Margaret Purce and Elizabeth Weisman have all been selected to the weekly honor roll.

Winners of six-straight matches, Harvard heads to Boston University Tuesday, Oct. 8 for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
