
The Harvard women's soccer team earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.45 during the 2010-11 academic year (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Harvard women's soccer team was recently honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America with its Team Academic Award for the 2010-11 academic year.
To be eligible for the award, a team must own a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better. The Crimson surpassed that mark and posted a 3.45 overall GPA during the 2010-11 academic year.
Senior co-captain Melanie Baskind was recently honored on the
Capital One Academic All-America team for the second straight year
after earning her third nod to the Capital One Academic
All-District squad.
