Harvard is in search of its third Ivy win of the season Saturday against Princeton (Gil Talbot).
Coming off of a 57-7 victory versus Brown, Harvard returns home after a well-deserved week break to face the 2013 Ivy League Champions, Princeton, Saturday afternoon. This will be the final home game of the regular season for the Crimson and fourth Ivy League match.
Last Time Out
After a slim 28-24 defeat last season against Brown, the Crimson were out for revenge, and with a 57-7 victory, it got just that. Throughout the match, the Crimson offense was on top of its game. Senior captain Xanni Brown once again put up impressive numbers, scoring more than half of the Crimson's points with five tries against the Bears in the lopsided victory. She also had six conversions on the day. Fellow captain Brandy Machado was back to her usual ways with three tries in the match. Junior Anabiet Abasi also had a try for the Crimson, making it her third game of the season with a try.

Scouting the Tigers
Princeton comes to Cambridge with a 1-3 record in Ivy League play, coming off a tough 24-22 loss against Columbia. Freshman Jochebed Muflam scored her first of two tries of the match to give the Tigers a quick 10-0 lead at the end of the first half, and then another to increase the lead 17-5. The Tigers then went up by 22-12 thanks to a try by senior Mireille Pardon, but then multiple turnovers led to Columbia coming back and sealing the narrow victory.
If necessary, the Crimson would take part in the Ivy play-in game Oct. 26. The Ivy Rugby Championships will take place Nov. 2-3 for the qualifying squads.
