  • Trio of Wrestlers Post Top-Three Results at Keystone Classic

    Returning to the mats for the second time in 2017 at the Keystone Classic, the Harvard wrestling team had a trio of wrestlers post top-three results, while the Crimson took eighth place as a team with 68 points.
  • Wrestling Returns to the Mat on Sunday at the Keystone Classic

    Wrestling returns to the mats on Sunday, Nov. 19 with the Keystone Classic hosted by Penn. The action gets underway at approximately 10 a.m.  
  • Wrestling Opens 2017-2018 with Three Top-Three Performances at Jonathan Kalhoust Open
    November 12, 2017
    Competing for the first time in 2017-2018, three Harvard wrestlers posted top-three performances at the Jonathan Kalhoust Bearcat Open on Sunday. Junior Nolan Hellickson and sophomore A.J. Jaffe paced the Crimson with second place finishes in the 125 and 141 weight classes.

    The Harvard wrestling team begins its 104th season at the Jonathan Kalhoust Bearcat Open, hosted by Binghamton on Sunday, Nov. 12. The action will get underway at approximately 9 a.m.
  • Wrestling Unveils 2017-18 Schedule
    August 29, 2017
    Fresh off a season where three wrestlers qualified for the NCAA tournament and six landed on the podium at the EIWA championships, Harvard wrestling has announced its 2017-18 campaign. The schedule includes five tournaments and four home dual meets at the Malkin Athletic Center. All Harvard home events will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.

    They say that every athlete experiences two deaths; one at the end of their life like all other men and one at the end of their athletic career. Our first death is so painful, for we give so much of ourselves to perfect an art which we will most likely never seriously do again. For most of us, we will never go through our pre-game routine again, never feel the rush of competing again, and never have the feeling of looking forward to competing again.

    Jay Weiss, The David G. Bunning ’88 Head Coach of Harvard Wrestling, welcomes seven incoming freshmen for the upcoming 2017-18 season: Brock Wilson, Cliffton Wang, Cole Bateman, Evan Callahan, Lukus Stricker, Richard Martinez, Trevor Tarsi.
