The Crimson has added nine freshmen to a group that returns six former EIWA placewinners (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Jay Weiss, The David G. Bunning '88 Head Coach for Harvard Wrestling, has announced the addition of nine freshmen to the Harvard roster for the 2014-15 academic year; Kanon Dean, Angus Cowell, Austin Gobbo, Josef Johnson, Spencer Kiehm, Logan Kirby, Mason Miller, Rico Stormer and Tyler Tarsi. The nine newcomers hail from six different states and two countries, and will add immediate depth to five weight classes.
"This group has proven throughout their high school careers that they have what it takes to succeed not only on the mat, but more importantly in the classroom and hopefully the real world," Weiss commented. "Each of our incoming freshmen has experienced winning at a high level as individuals and as a team, and will add more depth and character to our program. We are excited to begin working with each of them this fall as we work towards our common goals."
