Maren Rojas joined the Harvard women’s lacrosse program as operations assistant in the fall of 2013.
In her first year with the Crimson, Harvard posted a 9-7 overall record and earned a berth in the Ivy League tournament after going 4-3 in league play.
Rojas came to Cambridge after assistant coaching the Boston College women’s soccer team in 2012-13. While with the Eagles, she also managed the team’s budget and assisted in compliance.
Prior to coaching at BC, Rojas served as the women’s soccer head coach at Bowdoin College for five seasons. She led the Polar Bears to five NESCAC tournament appearances and a NCAA Tournament appearance in 2007. Rojas coached 12 All-NESCAC selections and seven All-Region Selections.
Along with coaching at BC and Bowdoin, she was an assistant coach at Virginia, Syracuse and James Madison.
Rojas also previously served as the assistant coach for the Boston Breakers, a professional women’s soccer team. With the Breakers she is responsible for coordinate and managing all organization interns, managing travel and planning and video analysis.
Rojas holds a master’s degree from Syracuse in Art Education, graduating in 2002.
