Danielle Tetreault and the Crimson open the 2013 season at Stanford Feb. 24 (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior midfielder Danielle Tetreault of the No. 15 Harvard women’s lacrosse team has been named to the Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America third team, the publication announced this week.

Tetreault, who hails from Guilderland, N.Y., was selected to the IWLCA All-Region and All-Ivy League second team last season as a junior. She led the Crimson with 28 goals, eight free position goals and 32 draw controls, while also ranking second with 32 points and 19 ground balls.

A two-time All-Ancient Eight choice, Tetreault, helped the Crimson finish 9-7 overall and 5-2 in the Ivy League in 2012. She scored at least one goal in each of Harvard’s 15 regular-season contests and averaged 1.75 goals per game.
