Jennifer VanderMeulen is the Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 18. The freshman scored nine goals and posted two assists in back-to-back wins for the Crimson, including Harvard’s first win over Princeton in 17 tries. VanderMeulen scored six goals and had two assists in Harvard’s 15-9 midweek win over Holy Cross. The product of Liverpool, N.Y., scored a hat trick, won two draw controls and collected a ground ball in a win over Princeton despite being double and triple teamed all day. VanderMeulen scored a highlight reel goal in the first half, weaving through defenders en route to the cage. The rookie has 44 goals on the season and eight assists for 52 points.
