Albrecht Featured on Cover of Lacrosse Magazine
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- After helping Team USA win
the gold medal at the 2009 Federation of International Lacrosse
(FIL) Women's World Cup in Prague in June, Harvard assistant coach
Sarah Albrecht was featured on the cover of the most recent issue
of Lacrosse Magazine.
Albrecht, who was named to the All-World Team as a midfielder, was
a key member of the American squad that defeated the defending
world cup champions Australia, 8-7, in the final on June 27.
She scored 14 goals and had three assists in the seven games of the
tournament and tallied the game-winner in Team USA's first victory
against Australia on June 22.
Harvard head coach Lisa Miller served as the head coach of Team
Canada at the world cup, leading the Canadians to the bronze medal.
