19 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Selections Wrap-up 2016-17 Season for Women’s Hockey

ALBANY, N.Y. – Harvard Women's ice hockey has proven to be competitive both on and off the ice, as 19 members of the 2016-17 Crimson women's hockey team have been selected to ECAC Hockey's All-Academic team.

Abbey Frazer highlights this year's all-academic selections, as the Crimson defender notched the Commissioner's List award as the Crimson's top scholar-athlete for the second year in a row. The selection to All-Academic team is Frazer's fourth in her four years at Harvard. In addition to Frazer, recent graduates Brianna Mastel and Natasha Rachlin also clinched their fourth consecutive spots on the all-academic team.

Rising seniors Nikki Friesen, Chelsea Ziadie and Lexie Laing secured their spots on the all-academic team for the third year in a row. Recent graduates Sydney Daniels and Brianna Laing, rising seniors Dani Krzyszczyk and Haley Mullins, and rising juniors Bradley Fusco and Kate Hallett finished their academic years strong as they notched the award for the second time.

Players are eligible for the all-academic team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters. Below is a complete list of Harvard's all-academic selections.
