    Capping terrific careers for a pair of senior captains, Sydney Daniels and Briana Mastel have been named to the All-Ivy League second team, as announced by the conference office on Friday. The All-Ivy honor is the third in a row for Daniels, while Mastel earned her first postseason honor.
  • Women’s Hockey Celebrates Seniors, Falls to Brown, 3-1

    Taking to the ice for the final time in 2016-17, Harvard women’s hockey fell to Brown, 3-1, on Saturday afternoon at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The program celebrated the class of 2017’s accomplishments after the game, honoring Brianna Laing, Natasha Rachlin, Briana Mastel, Abbey Frazer, Molly Tissenbaum and Sydney Daniels.

    Scoring early and often in its opening contest of the weekend, Harvard women’s hockey skated to a 5-0 shutout over Yale on Friday night at the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The shutout was the second of the year for the Crimson, while the five goals was one off its season high.

    Hosting a pair of Ivy foes in a pivotal ECAC Hockey weekend, Harvard women’s hockey welcomes Yale and Brown to the Bright-Landry Hockey Center for a pair of contests Feb. 17-18. The former will be broadcast on ESPN3, while the latter can be seen on NESN. Dropping the pucks at 6 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively, both meetings can also be found on the Ivy League Digital Network.

    Controlling the puck from start to finish, Harvard women’s hockey outskated Union, 2-0, on Friday night at Messa Rink. The win gave Katey Stone her 450th-career victory at the helm of the Crimson (4-17-5, 4-11-4 ECAC Hockey).
