Why did you choose Harvard?
I chose Harvard because of the great atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming here and they are all hard workers, which is inspiring and motivating. I love the team, the coaches and the school, and I could not be happier with my decision.
Whom do you model your game after and why?
I model my game off of my sister, Grace. I've played on the same team as her many times, and she's become my hockey role model. She helps me become better. I always watch what she does and learn from her. We are competitive, but we push each other to get better.
Is there any significance as to why you wear your number?
No special significance
What's your favorite pregame meal?
I am pretty flexible, but chicken and pasta is always a good choice. Then about one to two hours before I always have a little something like a granola bar as a pick-me-up.
What are three words you would use to describe yourself as a hockey player?
Determined, supportive, energetic
What/who are you listening to pregame, and why?
I like listening to Lil Wayne, Drake, Future and Kendrick Lamar. It is good pump-up music.
Where are you most likely to be found in the offseason?
Well, if I am not playing hockey, I am probably watching hockey. And when there is no hockey to watch, I am most likely lying out at the pool and reading a book.
What is your favorite thing about Cambridge/Boston?
I love that it is a busy city, that there's always something to do and that there are always people around. I grew up in Chicago so I'm accustomed to city life and I cannot imagine myself living anywhere else.
What other Harvard team do you enjoy watching as a fan?
I enjoy watching Harvard men's hockey, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse.
If you could travel back in time, when/where would you go?
I would travel back in time to the 80s. Those years seem like good times.
If you could have a superpower, which one would you chose?
I would want to read minds.
What kind of legacy do you want to leave at Harvard?
I want to be known as someone who always gave it her all, helped her teammates and did whatever it took to win.
