Hillary Crowe picked up Harvard's fourth weekly league honor
of the season Tuesday (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After one of the best weekend showings of her young career, Hillary Crowe was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week for Jan. 17. Crowe is the fourth Harvard player to earn weekly league honors this season, and joins classmate Samantha Reber in earning the Rookie of the Week nod.
Against Union, Crowe assisted Elizabeth Parker on the eventual game-winning goal, for her sixth helper of the season. The following afternoon, Crowe set a career-high for points, dishing out three assists in a 5-3 comeback win over Rensselaer, including a helper on the game-winning goal by Gina McDonald. Crowe currently holds the rookie team lead for points with 12 (3g, 9a), and brings a three-game point-scoring streak into this weekend’s games.
Harvard continues its homestand Friday with a game against No. 3 Cornell at 7 p.m.
