Pucci Named to National Under-22 Select Team

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard defenseman Josephine Pucci has
been named to the 2010 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team, USA
Hockey announced Friday. Pucci is one of 22 players selected to the
team and the lone Harvard representative named to the squad.
Pucci is one of eight defenseman that made the U-22 roster that is comprised almost entirely of collegiate players. The team will participate in the Women's National Festival, which will run from August 13-21 at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y. The team will depart the festival early and travel to Toronto to compete in the three-game series against Canada from August 18-21. This is Pucci's first stint with the national program and joins five others who also earned their first spot on a national team roster.
Pucci saw action in 31 games in her freshman season with
the Crimson and totaled 13 points on four goals and nine
assists.
