Cahow Featured on NECN, Looks Forward to Upcoming Olympics

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Former Harvard All-America defender
Caitlin Cahow '07-08 appeared on New England Cable News (NECN)
Tuesday and discussed her preparation for the upcoming 2010
Olympics in Vancouver, B.C.
An All-American defender with Harvard, Cahow earned the
bronze medal with the U.S. squad at the 2006
Olympics. During her stint with the Crimson,
Cahow helped Harvard win three ECAC Hockey regular-season title,
three ECAC Hockey tournament championships, two Ivy League titles
and three Beanpots. The Crimson also reached the NCAA
tournament during all four of her seasons with the team, advancing
to the NCAA Frozen Four three times.
Cahow ranks 15th in program history with 113 career points on 31
goals and 82 assists and was a two-time All-ECAC Hockey and All-Ivy
League recipient.
Cahow, who is readying to compete at her second Olympics
next month, joins fellow Harvard alumnae Julie Chu '06-07 and
Angela Ruggiero '02-04 on U.S. Olympic Women's Hockey Team.
Ruggiero, who will be playing in her fourth Olympics, and Chu, a
three-time Olympian, will serve as alternate captains for Team
USA.
