
WALPOLE, Mass. – For the second
consecutive year, several current and former members of the Harvard
women’s hockey team will raise money for breast cancer
research by competing at the Angela Ruggiero Chowder Cup Tournament
at the Foxboro Sports Center July 30-Aug. 2.
Caitlin Cahow ’07-08, Kirsten Kester ’09 and Sarah
Wilson ’09 will serve as captains of Team Celine, while
juniors Kate Buesser and Ashley Wheeler and freshmen Jillian
Dempsey, Josephine Pucci and Kaitlin Spurling will also play for
the squad.
The team will wear pink uniforms during the tournament, donate
time off the ice to take breast cancer research donations and hand
out information on breast cancer awareness and research.
