In the first poll of the season, released Wednesday, Harvard is under the receiving votes category. The Crimson is the only program from the Northeast region of the 54 nationally to get mention.

COLUMBUS, Ohio May 7-9 found the Harvard women representing the Ivy League at the NCAA Central Regional in Columbus, Ohio. They earned the right to be there two weeks ago with their second consecutive Ivy Championship victory. Ohio State was the host team at the Central Regional, and the tournament was contested on their famed Scarlet Course. Noted as one of the best University courses in the country, the Scarlet is an Alistair McKenzie gem that was renovated by Jack Nicklaus in the last decade.

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Harvard women's golf team finished the NCAA Central Regional in 19th place. The tournament, held at the Scarlet Course on the campus of Ohio State University, saw the Crimson shoot 318-323-338-979 in finishing ahead of Murray State and Farleigh Dickinson. UCLA won the regional by 19 strokes over Purdue.
May 8, 2009 Balmert Leads Crimson On Day Two of NCAA Competition
The Harvard women's golf team currently sits in 19th place after its second round on Friday at the NCAA Central Regional at the Scarlet Course on the campus of Ohio State University. The Crimson shot a round of 323 as one of the first teams out on the course, alongside Michigan and Tennessee Chattanooga. The remainder of the field competes throughout the afternoon.
