Final Round of Hoya Inv. Rained Out; Women's Golf Finishes Eighth
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The final round of the Hoya Invitational at The Members Club at Four Streams has been rained out on Tuesday so Monday's two-round results will hold up as the final standings in the 17-team field. The Harvard women's golf team finished in a tie for eighth place with Columbia (655) while Nova Southeastern University took home first place with a team score of 623.
Harvard was led by captain Mia Kabasakalis who finished tied for 22nd overall with rounds of 79 and 82 for a 161 final. Bonnie Hu finished right behind Kabasakalis with rounds of 82 and 80 for a 162 final.
Julie MacDonnell (86-83-169) finished among the top competitors on Par 4 scoring, finishing fifth among the 89 competitors.
