Kate Woll is in her fourth season with the Black and
White. She came to Radcliffe in the fall of 2005 as a coaching
assistant with the heavyweight squad. Under her guidance in
2007, the varsity four A finished with a silver medal at
Eastern Sprints, and the varsity 4B took the gold. The varsity four
A earned a bronze in 2008.
Prior to her arrival in Cambridge, Woll served as the women's
coaching assistant at Dartmouth for two seasons. She was the novice
coach of the UMass women's rowing team for three years and the
assistant varsity coach at New Hampshire for one season.
Woll graduated from George Washington University in 1995
with a bachelor of arts degree in international affairs. She was a
four-year rower for the Colonials. In addition to her
coaching, she has worked extensively in education; she holds
an M.Ed from the Antioch of New England Graduate School.
