The Black and White won its heat and took fourth in the grand final at EAWRC Sprints ... Also contributed to the novice eight’s wins in the Beanpot (against Boston University and Northeastern) and against Yale and Virginia, as well as a pair of race victories in the Charles River Challenge (first against Texas, Dartmouth and Syracuse and later against Dartmouth and Notre Dame).

Before Harvard
Played soccer, ran track and rowed for King’s College crew ... Won the New Zealand secondary schools championship in the Under-18 quadruple sculls in 2005 ... Won Auckland titles in the U-17 double and quad in 2006 ... Raced for the North Island U-18 quad at the 2006 New Zealand U-18 series ... Received the School Award for best senior girl for best all-around athlete ... Also received the award for most consistent girl rower ... Won the year 12 and year 13 English literature prizes ...
