CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – WISE Boston will hold it's first-ever "Women of Inspiration" event on Dec. 17, honoring Harvard women's basketball head coach Kathy Delaney Smith and ESPN columnist and "Around the Horn" panelist Jackie MacMullan.

The event will be held at the Murr Center at Harvard on Dec. 17 from 6-8 p.m. Food will be provided from Del Frisco's. General admission costs $50, while students will be admitted for $30. Tickets can be purchased here.

Attendees will be able to network and gain invaluable insight from two women that continue to pave the way in the sports industry.

Delaney-Smith became one of 28 active Division I head coaches with 500 wins this season, as one of just six active DI head coaches to spend 31-plus years at one institution. She owns a coaching record of 502-343 with a 295-127 record in Ivy League play. Those marks include ten 20-win seasons, 11 Ivy titles, a .500 record or better in 24 of the last 25 campaigns, and ten postseason appearances.

MacMullan is currently a correspondent for WHDH-TV in Boston and New England Sports Network (NESN). She is also a regular contributor to ESPN and appears on the television program "Around the Horn."
