Women's Basketball Single-Game Tickets On Sale Now

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Single-game tickets for the Harvard women's basketball team's home games are now on sale through the Harvard ticket office. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults, $10 for students and free for youth (ages 12 and under) and Harvard undergraduates.

The Crimson will look to extend its 14-game home winning streak during an 11-game slate at Lavietes Pavilion in 2013-14. Harvard hosts non-conference foes Boston University (Nov. 13), North Dakota St. (Nov. 16), Florida International (Nov. 19) and Hofstra (Dec. 21) as well as its exciting seven-game Ivy League schedule.

The upcoming season looks to be another promising one, as Harvard returns 11 players from last year's team that won 21 games and advanced to the WNIT second round for the second consecutive year. Highlighting the returners are starters Ali Curtis, Temi Fagbenle and Christine Clark. The trio combined to score 31.1 points per game, including 15.6 from Clark, and grab 14.5 rebounds. Fagbenle, a 2012 Olympian with Great Britain, pulled down 7.7 rebounds per game in 2012-13. Clark is a two-time All-Ivy first team selection and enters the season ranked 11th in Harvard history with 1,265 career points.

The Harvard ticket office is located in the Murr Center at 65 N. Harvard Street, Boston, Mass. Tickets can be purchased at the office, online, or by calling 617-495-2211.
