Women's Basketball Scheduled to Play Syracuse in WNIT

The Harvard women's basketball team will play at Syracuse Thursday night at 7 p.m. in the first round of the Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT). This is Harvard's second appearance in the WNIT and it's eighth trip to the postseason.
Harvard went 20-9 overall and 11-3 in the Ivy League to finish second in the standings and earn the Ivy League's automatic bid to the WNIT. The Crimson recorded its ninth 20 win season and posted a 12-1 record at home.
The Crimson and Orangewomen have met three other times in program history but not since 2002. Harvard is 1-2 against Syrcause.
The winner of the game will play the winner of Delware vs. Richmond.
