Freshman Trio Named to Track & Field News High School All-America Squad
Billy Orman is one of three Harvard freshmen to be named to
the Track and Field News All-America Team (Harvard Athletic
Communications).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Three freshman members of the
Harvard track and field team received Track and Field News
High School All-America accolades, the publication announced in its
December 2011 issue. Billy Orman, Dean Sullivan and Ben Glauser all
received All-America accolades following storied high school
careers.
Orman, a rookie from Tuba City, Ariz., was the top two-mile runner in the state and was ranked fourth out of the five runners selected to the All-America squad from the two-mile event. Thrower Glauser of Athens, Ga., was ranked fourth among the All-America shot putters and ranked within the top three in a handful of national rankings as a senior. Sullivan, a Morristown, N.J., native, ranked second in the state in the javelin and was fourth among High School All-American javelin throwers.
