CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –
Senior distance runner Daniel Chenoweth of the Harvard track and field team has been named the HepsTrack Co-Male Athlete of the Week, the site announced Monday. Chenoweth competed at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va., this past weekend.

Chenoweth led the Harvard distance corps on the campus of William & Mary, competing in the 5,000 meter run during Friday’s action. The senior turned in his fastest-ever mark in the event, posting a time of 13:57.61 to capture the title by more than a 10-second margin. His time stands as the second-fastest time in school history and ranks as the 11th-best mark in the nation so far this season. Chenoweth’s result was one of three Harvard finishes that rank among the top 15 times in the nation this year.

The Crimson is back in action this weekend, sending representatives to the Ole Miss Invitational in Oxford, Miss., and the George Davis Invitational in Lowell, Mass.
