Track and Field Sends Participants to National Meets

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard track and field program will send a number of competitors to the USA Junior and Senior National Meets this weekend.

Rising sophomores Shannon Watt and Melissa Bellin will participate in the junior nationals beginning today. Watt is entered in the shot put while Bellin with be running the 400 meter hurdles. Becky Christensen '09, a former All-American for the Crimson, will be competing in the senior nationals in the high jump and Harvard volunteer assistant coach Chris Bryce will be competing in the men's hammer throw.
