Complete Indoor and Outdoor Schedule

The Harvard men’s and women’s track and field teams will have a busy schedule this indoor and outdoor season as the Crimson looks to move up in the league standings and send more student-athletes to the ECAC/IC4A Championships and NCAA events during both seasons.

Harvard will spend the majority of the indoor season competing in Boston before traveling to 10 different states during the outdoor campaign.

The Crimson will kick off the indoor track season at Northeastern’s Husky Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center on Dec. 5. The following weekend, the Crimson will host the Harvard Open, but will be unable to compete due to the change in the final exam schedule. Harvard starts the new year off at the Dartmouth Relays on Jan. 9 before returning home for back-to-back meets at the Gordon Indoor Track. Harvard hosts the Harvard Invitational Jan. 16 and the Harvard Select Meet on Jan. 23. On Jan. 29, the Crimson will compete at the Terrier Invitational at Boston University’s Track and Tennis Center and host the Harvard Multi-Meet.

Harvard men look to hold onto the Beanpot trophy, while the women look to win its first title after closing the gap against Boston College last year when the Crimson hosts the third annual Battle of Beantown Feb. 6. The Crimson then travels to Princeton for the annual HYP meet before heading to Dartmouth for the Heptagonal Championships Feb. 27-28. The indoor season wraps up with the ECAC and IC4A Championships in Boston March 6 and the NCAA Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., March 12-13.

The Crimson will open its spring season at Texas Southern Relays during spring break. The following weekend, several athletes will travel to California for the Stanford Invitational and Florida for the Central Florida Invitational. During the month of April, the Crimson will compete at the Sam Howell Invitational, the Bison Outdoor Classic, the Sea Ray Relays, the Brown Invitational, the H-Y dual, the Penn Relays and the Yale Springtime Invitational.

Harvard travels to Princeton, N.J., for the Heptagonal Championships May 8-9 and then returns to the same stadium the following weekend for the ECAC/IC4A Championships. The 2010 NCAA East Regional will be held in Greensboro, N.C., two weeks later where student-athletes will vie for spots at the NCAA Championships, which will take place June 9-12 in Eugene, Ore.
