Skiing 2017 Schedule Set

Harvard skiing will compete in five regular season carnivals in preparation for the NCAA/EISA Championships in late February (Gil Talbot).  

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.
– Harvard Athletics has recently released the alpine and nordic 2017 schedules. The 77th season of Harvard skiing features five regular season carnivals leading up to the NCAA/EISA Championships in late February.  

Harvard opens the season Jan. 20-21 as the alpine and nordic teams head to Lake Placid, New York to compete at the St. Lawrence Carnival. The Crimson then participates in the UNH Carnival in Jackson, New Hampshire the following weekend, Jan. 27-28.

The Harvard squads compete every weekend during the month of February, beginning Feb. 3-4 in the UVM Carnival in Stowe, Vermont. The final two carnivals of the season will be in Hanover, New Hampshire for the Dartmouth Carnival on Feb. 10-11, followed by the Middlebury Carnival in Middlebury, Vermont Feb. 17-18.

The Crimson alpine teams concludes its season at the NCAA Eastern Regional Championships held at Sunday River in Newry, Maine on Feb. 24-25. Harvard's nordic teams finish up the 2016-17 campaign at the EISA Championships in Rumford, Maine the same weekend.

The NCAA Championships will be held at Cannon Mountain in Franconia, New Hampshire from March 8-11.
